Our Story

Grace Church was founded in 2015 by Lead Pastor Floyd Steverson and a core group of believers who had a vision to plant a new non-traditional church dedicated to loving God, loving people and making a difference in our community. Our desire was to create an environment where everyone would feel welcomed, loved, and accepted; a place where Christ is exalted above all through worship, preaching, teaching, and serving.

We began hosting Bible Studies and Worship Gatherings with our core group in March of 2015 and officially launched our church in September of that same year meeting at the Holiday Inn Conference Center next to Trustmark Park. 

In 2016, having outgrown the Conference Center, we began meeting at Cinemark Theater and continued to meet there until 2018 when we moved into a former retail center that we leased for 2 years. And, in December of 2019 through God's divine provision we purchased our current facilities and after renovations began meeting at our present location in February of 2020.

During these formative years we began to expand our ministries and outreach efforts into the surrounding communities in a quest to fulfill the Great Commission  and share the love of Christ with others. 

As a church family, we are heading towards a future that emphasizes inclusivity, community engagement, and adapting to the evolving needs of our congregation and society. With a focus on embracing diversity and a strong  emphasis on doctrinally sound Biblical teaching and preaching, we are committed to fostering spiritual growth, meaningful relationships, and a positive impact on the world around us. By leveraging technology and innovative approaches, we seek to maintain our timeless values while staying relevant in an ever-changing world. We strive to honor Christ in all that we do and to be a source of inspiration, support, and love for all who seek a spiritual home.
